A properly functioning gutter system should:

  • Keep rainwater away from entry ways.
  • Channel water away from your foundation.
  • Add to the beauty of your home.

If your gutter system is failing you RISK:

  • Water being channeled behind your siding, causing major wood rot.
  • Water backing up beneath your roofing system, causing leaks and expensive sheet rock repair.
  • Erosion of landscaping
  • Water getting inside or under your home, causing mold and mildew to flourish.

What about clogged gutters and downspouts?

Cleaning out gutters is not fun. It’s not safe. Nobody likes to do it. Yet, keeping your gutters free of tree debris is vital to protecting your home. If you are a Roof Life Maintenance customer and you get your roof blown free of debris each year, your gutters are blown out and inspected as a part of our service.

Your downspouts can also be a problem. If they are clogged from previous debris problems, cleaning the gutters will only solve half the problem.

rain_flow.jpgWe finally found a solution! Roof Life is an authorized dealer for the Rain Flow system of gutter protection. It’s the only system we’ve found which really works. It allows water to flow through, yet blocks leaves and needles. The leaves and needles sit on top of the Rain Flow filter where they can dry to be blown away by the next breeze.

Be sure to ask for Rain Flow when you request an inspection of your gutters.
