At the end of the process, you get a price. If you don’t like it, we can go back and change parts and components until you get the roof you want.
It’s kind of like building your dream car online. You go through and pick all the components and features and at the end you get your price. If it’s too high, you can go back and change things. That’s what happens when I come to your home and help you design your roof.
We’re not just going to send you an email with a laundry list of items and cost at the bottom. I mean, do you know what de-metal is? How can you make an informed decision when you have no idea what any of it means?
When we help you design your roof, we’re not going to dumb it down, but we will put it in language that you can understand. We want to make sure we’re on the same page so that you have full ownership of the investment you’re about to make.
I’ll start by asking you a few questions. How long do you plan to live in your home? How much maintenance do you want to do in the future? What do you want your home to look like? Based on those answers, there’s a little tab that will open up that will have specific styles of roofs.
If you live under a ton of trees, I really do not want to sell you a roof that’s going to require a ton of maintenance. You’ll just be cleaning constantly. You’ll never feel like you have a new roof, because it will always be dirty. That’s why I ask how much maintenance you are comfortable with in the future.
There are shingles out there that are virtually maintenance free. Yes, there’sa price associated with them, but at least you have that choice.
From there, we’ll break it down based on price, longevity and performance, so that you can find the type of roof you’re looking for, within your budget.
You take ownership of that price, because you pick out the components and you create the roof. At the end, if the price is too high, we can switch some components out. It’s instant.
